• It all begins with an idea to create

a better future for our children.

Brian Leary's story began in Suffolk County, New York, where he grew up in a hardworking family that instilled in him the values of perseverance and dedication. His parents juggled multiple jobs to support him and his brother, fostering in him a deep commitment to the working middle class.

After graduating from Connetquot High School, Leary pursued higher education, earning both his bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from St. Joseph's University. During his college years, he took on leadership roles such as President of the Intramurals Association, and actively participated in Habitat for Humanity, the Accounting & Business Club, Men's Indoor & Outdoor Track & Field, and several honor societies, including Delta Mu Delta, Kappa Gamma Pi, Delta Epsilon Sigma, and Sigma Iota Chi.

Not a typical career politician, Leary brings over 14 years of experience as a full-time accountant, currently employed at a leading firm with a diverse national client base. He hopes to transition from being a numbers expert to a political champion, determined to liberate New Yorkers from corruption and ineffective policies that fail to meet their needs.

In addition to his professional commitments, Leary volunteers as the PTA treasurer at his six-year-old's elementary school, embraces the role of "Class Dad", and serves on the budget advisory committee for his local school district, the second largest suburban school district in New York State.

As a lifelong advocate for education reform, tax/economic reform, and criminal justice reform, he understands our state’s challenges. He enters this journey for governor with a proven record of innovative ideas and the highest quality strategic solutions to resolve challenges and propel prosperity for all. He is committed to ensuring every child receives a world-class education and every family can thrive. He has pledged to work tirelessly to revitalize our economy, promote job growth, modernize infrastructure, and most importantly strengthen our schools and protect our communities from crime.
